Government Automation

Typical Concerns:
  • Very few government processes are automated
  • Attorneys & Accountants
The short term solution to the lack of automation is the use of experts. Attorneys, accountants and other government consultants can be very adept at assisting businesses with key government functions and registrations. Chambers of Commerce are also helpful in assisting businesses with governmental functions.
  • World Bank Initiative
The World Bank has authorized another $44 million dollars for the next phase of their government automation project. Significant parts of the court system have already been automated. It is anticipated that by April of 2011 some of the General Registrar Office will be automated. Automation of the IRS has been a major priority. Key infrastructure has been put in place with the National Information Technology Agency (NITA). Detailed information regarding the project status can be found on the NITA website
