We run ground ambulance services out of four bases in Ghana. Our main bases are in Accra and Takoradi. We run remote site clinics on and offshore. We run two large clinics in Accra and Takoradi. We provide emergency air rescue services throughout West Africa. All of our services are coordinated through our 24-hour emergency hotlines.
Anyone traveling to Ghana or living in Ghana can register with our organization and become a member and use our emergency and clinical services.
Many of our corporate clients have an account in place for their employees to utilize our clinics without the employee having to make a payment. We have direct billing procedures with some insurance companies.
WARA has fast become the primary private health care provider in Ghana and Sierra Leone. We are the only company providing air and ground ambulance services on a first world level. Our private clinics are run on an exceptionally high standard ensuring good health care and case management in an otherwise risky health care environment.
We have a large network of excellent specialists with whom we work, when necessary. We liaise with insurance companies to facilitate international evacuations for our clients, when necessary.
We have a team of 13 medical doctors led by two medical directors. All of our doctors have, in addition to their training, gone through ACLS training in South Africa. We have a dedicated team of nine internationally qualified paramedics for front-line emergency response. We have a team of nine nurses. Our general manager is a psychologist and is on call 24 hours for crisis counseling and family liaison.
